I give honest reviews, based on my opinion only and in no way influenced by publishing houses or monetary rewards. My reviews are often very emotional and can vary from awe and admiration to frustration and annoyance. My reviews can also be viewed on Goodreads.

I do take suggestions for books, but I won't read and/or review a book that is not my cup of tea. The books I read depend on my mood and I in no way am specific or ignorant about any genre. I read everything from classics, sociology, thrillers and even children's books.

Review Star System

For the longest time I wondered what rating system to use and decided to use the five-star rating system Goodreads uses, with the exception of the meaning behind every star.

Zero Stars Review
I have no idea why someone decided to kill a tree for such "literature." The publishing house should definitely hire new editors and rethink the books they want to publish. If the book is published by an independent author: just stop now and choose another career path.

One Star Review
The book is bad in a way I probably didn't even finish it. If I've reviewed it that means I have read at least half of it and what I've read is nothing I would recommend.

Two Star Review
I could see a potential there, but the author lost his/her place somewhere in the story and completely butchered it for me. Two star review usually means that I was hyped about the book, but was extremely disappointed of the outcome.

Three Star Review
I could definitely see why some people liked this book, but to me it wasn't something all that great. There were definitely some parts that I liked but the overall concept of the book was nothing I would write home about. Three star review usually means I would recommend this book only to specific audience that I know would enjoy such literature.

Four Star Review
This book was very good but something about it(most likely grammar and style) restrained me from lighting the fifth star. The plot was nice and I liked the characters, but there was something missing.

Five Star Review
If I have a book five stars, that means I would not be able to contain my excitement The book was amazing from cover to cover, the characters, the language and the overall concept.

Considering my blog is just starting, all the books I review I have purchased from bookstores and/or websites that sell digital copies. I am open to review a book from an author or a publisher in exchange of honest review!
